Who we are
VLNO LABS LTD, operating as vlno (“we”, “us”), is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our address is 12 Arlozorov, Raanana, Israel. For privacy questions or requests, email hertzel@vlno.ai.
This notice covers vlno.ai, its blog and its contact and careers forms. Customer product deployments and data supplied under separate service agreements require their own contractual and privacy arrangements.
Information we receive
- Enquiries and demo requests: your name, email address, optional message, request type and subsequent correspondence.
- Careers submissions: your name, email and any professional links, background, areas of interest or introduction you choose to provide.
- Website access: hosting, content-delivery and security services may process connection and diagnostic information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information and error records.
Providing information is voluntary. Name and email are needed to submit our forms and respond; other information is optional. Please do not send passwords, confidential customer data or sensitive personal information.
How we use information
We use enquiries to respond, arrange requested conversations and maintain relevant business correspondence. We use careers information to assess professional interest and communicate about opportunities. Technical information helps us deliver, troubleshoot and protect the website.
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, evaluating professional interest and operating a secure website; steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable; and legal obligations where required.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or provide consent for unrelated marketing. Any future optional marketing subscription will be addressed separately.
Service providers
We use HubSpot for website enquiries and follow-up, Google for company email, and Airtable for careers submissions. AWS Amplify and CloudFront support website hosting and delivery; our WordPress blog is also hosted on AWS. Requests for blog images or content can disclose connection information to that host.
Information is made available to team members and providers as needed for these purposes. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
International processing
We are based in Israel, and our service providers operate internationally. Information may be processed outside your country. An EU-region service account does not necessarily mean every processing activity remains in the EU. Contact hertzel@vlno.ai for information about processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements.
Retention
Our retention policy is to delete or anonymise inactive enquiry records 12 months after the last meaningful contact, and unsuccessful careers submissions 6 months after the recruitment process closes. These are retention periods, not a representation that deletion is automated.
Where an enquiry leads to a customer relationship or an application leads to employment, resulting records are handled under the applicable customer or employment arrangements. Information may be retained longer where required by law or necessary for a specific legal claim. Technical records and backups are handled according to their operational purpose, provider settings and applicable obligations. You may contact us with a deletion request.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, and does not use advertising trackers or session-replay tools. This applies whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Our contact form sends information through our server to HubSpot without installing HubSpot’s tracking script or reading a HubSpot visitor cookie. We do not include your IP address in that form payload; hosting providers may still process connection metadata. Administrative and editorial preview functions may use necessary cookies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your information, or restrict its use. Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Right to object: where applicable, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances, and to direct marketing.
Email hertzel@vlno.ai to exercise your rights. We may request proportionate identity verification and will respond within applicable legal time limits. Rights may be subject to lawful exceptions. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority or the authority competent for your location.
Security, external links and updates
No transmission or storage system is completely secure. External websites linked from our pages have their own privacy practices. We will date updates to this notice and provide additional notice where required.
